I got this great hutch from my grandparents garage. It needed some work but I thought it would make a darling addition to my country kitchen.
And once it was painted it did look perfect. But it needed cabinets...
Instead of cabinets I decided to sew some fabric to make curtains for the bottom instead of doors.
This was a simple project and didn't take anytime at all. I used an old tension rod to hand the curtains from on the inside of the hutch. I think it turned out quite nice. I do not have a video tutorial to share with you. This was simple just hem along the edges, then on the top side make a fold that is large enough for the tension rod to slide through the top. Simply sew a straight line and TADA....
